Residence Inn, Stapleton, CO

The Residence Inn by Marriott is a new extended-stay facility located within the recent redeveloped area of Stapleton Airport in Stapleton, Colorado. The hotel is located off of Interstate 70 and Central Park Boulevard near Northfield Stapleton Mall. DesignCell, as architect, is designing the new, four-story hotel offering all of the comforts of home in studio, one, and two bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchenettes. The 112 room, 84,000 SF facility offers a contemporary interior with guest seating areas, breakfast seating, on-site laundry, wireless technology, indoor pool, spa, outdoor patio and fire pit, and fitness center. The site of the facility is located within a master planned development set behind modern concrete, landscaped earthen berms featured throughout the master planned development. The facility site plan worked around this design feature.

DesignCell provided design for the brand and anticipates utilizing Design/Bid/Build construction. The project was completed in June 2017.
