Garden Inn, Tempe, AZ

Hilton Garden Inn and Hilton Homewood Suites are two new hotel developments simultaneously designed and constructed located off of the intersection of Loops 101 and 202 in Tempe, Arizona. The site is conveniently located near the Tempe Marketplace and the Salt River. These two extended-stay hotels are part of a new development on a repurposed and environmentally mitigated construction waste landfill. A unique design aspect is that both hotels are elevated above the footings, which in the 8-inch of air space between the ground and the foundation allows for gases to be naturally forced by pressure through the roof systems. This design provides a further layer of environmental protection. In addition to the two hotels located on the site, upon build out, will be office buildings, retail, and surface parking.

Hilton Garden Inn is four-story, wood construction of 125 rooms and 74,000 SF. Hilton Garden Inn offers comfortable king, double queen, and king suite rooms and full kitchen to serve rooms and full service restaurant on site. Hotel offer standard brand amenities including outdoor pool.

DesignCell provided design and construction administration for the Design/Bid/Build delivery.  Construction of the hotel was completed in early 2017.
