DesignCell’s Joseph Bradshaw Receives Architecture License
DesignCell is proud to announce that our Team Leader, Joseph Bradshaw, passed his boards and has received his architecture license from the state of Nevada.
Joseph successfully completed all requirements in the stringent licensure process which includes:
- Obtaining a professional degree in architecture from a program accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB);
- Completing the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards
(NCARB) Architectural Experience Program (AXP), a profession-wide, comprehensive internship program that contributes to the development of architects to ensure that graduates from architecture programs acquire the necessary discipline, integrity, judgment, skills, and knowledge to practice architecture.
- Passing the Architect Registration Examination (ARE) which examines candidates for their knowledge, skills, and ability to provide the various services required in the design and construction of buildings.
“This is a significant step in furthering an already successful career for Joseph,” said Scott Brown, DesignCell Co-Founder and Principal Architect. “We know the hard work and dedication required to earn this license and we are proud of his achievement.”
As Team Leader at DesignCell, Joseph employs a holistic approach to architecture, emphasizing both design excellence and a comprehensive understanding of construction methodologies and software applications. He leads project teams in creating construction documents—leveraging his knowledge of building codes and Revit software—and collaborating with external consultants.
Joseph brings a positive attitude and hunger for learning to his projects. “I am passionate about continuous learning and growth in the field of architecture, and I am committed to leveraging my skills and experiences to contribute meaningfully to every project I undertake,” he explained.
Joseph received his bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Utah in 2015 and subsequently gained two years of valuable work experience at a residential architecture firm, where he immersed himself in the intimate nature of home design and helped manage entire projects from start to finish.
In 2017, he entered the master’s program at the University of Utah where he honed his understanding of architectural principles and design methodologies and, in 2019, received his master’s degree in architecture.
He then joined a residential architecture firm that specializes in high-end, luxury homes in Las Vegas where he spent four years refining his expertise. He also began studying for licensure exams during this time. He joined DesignCell in 2023.
Please join us in congratulating Joseph on this milestone achievement!
