DesignCell Tours Marriott Headquarters and Design Center

Scott Brown, Principal of the firm was invited for a tour of Marriott Headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland this month to view their new design packages and standards.  Mr. Brown viewed the Springhill Suites guest room offered in Marriott’s new “decor package update” shown on the left and the new updated TownePlace Suites guest room shown below.

In addition, Mr. Brown toured Marriott’s design center located in the basement of their headquarters to view the updated design standards for the brand.  Marriott is additionally migrating from Autodesk Buzzsaw to a new software titled “Lobo.”  The migration is expected to be complete by the end of the year.  Mr. Brown was provided with a demo of the new software.
