DesignCell Notes 17th Anniversary

DesignCell is celebrating 17 years of architectural design excellence, leadership, and growth. We are excited about all that we have achieved since our humble beginnings as a two-man startup in 2007 and are proud of the talented team we have built and the many accomplishments we have reached in these “short” 17 years.

“Kastis and I are so proud of our portfolio of projects, but even more proud of the trust we’ve built with developers in the hospitality and multifamily sectors,” said Scott Brown, Principal and Co-founder of DesignCell. “It has been a remarkable journey from those early days of just the two of us starting out fresh in Las Vegas to where we are today, leading a dedicated, creative, bi-continental team of over 30 employees that have helped us build a reputation for quality, reliability, and innovation.”

The DesignCell team has completed more than 50 hotel projects and numerous multifamily designs and has recently expanded our services to include self-storage facilities. Our experienced team of professionals span across Las Vegas, NV; Scottsdale, Arizona, and Vilnius, Lithuania, all collaborating to design innovative, sustainable properties that work for today’s demand.

Along the way, we have built lasting relationships with developers, suppliers, construction partners, and colleagues that have enriched not only our work, but our lives as well. 

As we commemorate this anniversary, we are pleased to share some of our milestones and accomplishments from the past year, including:

• We proudly celebrated the opening of our 50th hotel project and numerous others.

• We opened a third location in Scottsdale, Arizona.

• We added a Design Director to our team. 

• We promoted Stefan Stepanovic to Operations Manager.

• We continued to grow our brand and reputation as industry leaders at numerous hospitality industry conferences and events.

• We were selected for Marriott’s Recommended Architect Program for its Select Service Brands which include AC Hotels, Aloft, Courtyard, Element, Fairfield, Four Points, Moxy, Residence Inn, SpringHill Suites, and TownePlace Suites. 

• One of our design projects, the Las Vegas Hilton Home2 Suites owned and managed by United Brothers, received a Two Green Globes® certification for sustainable design and construction from the Green Building Initiative (GBI).

• We obtained our license in Massachusetts, expanding our reach to 15 states.

• We expanded our resume, bringing our experience and expertise to the self-storage sector.
