Celebrating the Completion of Hilton Homewood Suites Tempe

DesignCell announces the construction completion of Hilton Homewood Suites, Tempe, Arizona. The project is located off of the intersection of Loops 101 and 202 in Tempe.  The site is conveniently located near the Tempe Marketplace and the Salt River.  Hilton Homewood Suites is a four-story, wood construction hotel of 121 rooms and 98,000 SF.  The facility offers spacious studio, one or two bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens, dining, workstation and separate living and sleeping areas.  This project site is on a repurposed and environmentally mitigated construction waste landfill.  The hotel design is unique in that the building is elevated 8-inches above the footings, which allows for air and off gases to be naturally forced by pressure through the roof systems, thus providing another layer of environmental protection.

The project shares the site with a new Hilton Garden Inn also designed by the firm with construction completion anticipated by end of the year.  Upon build out, the site will include two hotels, office buildings, retail, and surface parking.
