Celebrating 18 Years of Excellence at DesignCell

This year marks a significant milestone for DesignCell Architecture as we celebrate 18 years of innovation, creativity, and excellence in architectural design. From our humble beginnings to becoming a nationally recognized leader in hospitality and multifamily projects, our journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. As we reflect on the past year, we are filled with gratitude for the achievements, partnerships, and growth that have defined our 18th year.

The past year was a remarkable year for growth and recognition at DesignCell. We proudly opened five new hospitality projects, each showcasing our commitment to designing spaces that inspire and create lasting impact. Our dedication to excellence and innovation was further recognized as we were named a Recommended Architect for Marriott’s latest midscale hotel brand, City Express, allowing us to play a pivotal role in shaping the look and feel of these innovative properties.

We also continued to expand our team, welcoming new members who bring fresh perspectives and expertise to our projects. We also embraced innovation to stay at the forefront of architectural innovation, exploring how AI is revolutionizing the design process by testing tools that streamline research and enhance efficiency. Our focus on leveraging technology ensures that we continue to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions for our clients.

In addition to exploring AI, we also attended multiple conferences to stay current on industry trends and innovations. Scott Brown and Gwen Jarick shared their knowledge as panelists at several events and built lasting connections with principals in the design and hospitality industries. 

To enhance our team cohesion and alleviate stress, we organized a variety of engaging outings and celebrations, both within the office and at external venues. From festive holiday gatherings and lively white elephant gift exchanges to exciting ballpark trips and spirited karaoke nights, these events provided opportunities to unwind and build deeper personal connections. Beyond being enjoyable, these moments of camaraderie play a crucial role in driving the success of our teams and the organization as a whole.

As we step into our 19th year, we are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. With several projects and initiatives on the horizon, we remain committed to pushing the boundaries of design and exceeding our clients’ expectations. We are deeply grateful to our clients, partners, and team members for their trust and support—which have been instrumental in our success—and look forward to many more years of working together to create spaces that inspire.
