Your Role:
- Design Development: Create site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, and materials for mid-rise hotels, self-storage facilities, and multi-family projects.
- Detailed Documentation: Contribute to the development of essential design documents.
- Material and Trend Research: Investigate materials, products, and design trends to guide design choices and ensure adherence to brand standards and industry regulations.
- Project Coordination: Liaise with consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure the seamless execution of projects.
- Client Relations: Understand client goals and expectations, represent the firm in client-facing and regulatory meetings.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Good understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards specific to our
- projects.
What We’re Looking For:
- Commitment to Excellence: Maintain the firm's dedication to creativity, quality, and client satisfaction in every aspect of your work.
- Communication & Collaboration: Outstanding skills in communicating ideas, taking responsibility for working collaboratively with teams, owners, city staff, planners, and consultants.
- Design Software Proficiency: Create comprehensive design drawings, renderings, and presentations using industry-standard software. Good proficiency in Revit and other essential design tools.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines, zoning cases, and entitlement submittals.
- Continuous Learning: Stay informed about emerging technologies and methodologies in architecture and design and pursue opportunities for professional growth and skill enhancement.
Industry Experience:
A minimum of 5 years’ firsthand architectural design experience working on US based projects similar to those of our company. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
A strong portfolio that highlights work in hospitality, multi-family, self-storage, and commercial sectors should be submitted with your application.
