Your Role
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team, tasked with securing new projects, cultivating existing client relationships, and forging valuable partnerships. Your drive to expand our company and client base, combined with a passion for architecture and engaging with people, will make this role a perfect fit for you.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate a successful background in consultative sales, exceptional communication abilities, and a proven history of client engagement to propel revenue and foster company growth. This position is based in our Las Vegas office.
Principal Activities:
- Client Engagement: Develop and manage a client portfolio by establishing trust and relationships with potential, referred, and existing clients. Gain a thorough understanding of their architectural needs and provide exceptional service to guide them effectively through the sales process.
- Strategic Development: Formulate and implement business development strategies that align with our company’s goals to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Sales Process: Design and present proposals that address client needs, highlight our value proposition, and demonstrate our expertise.
- Contractual Agreements: Draft and finalize contracts in line with company procedures, ensuring smooth client relations through to contract completion.
- Sales Forecasting: Analyze and manage sales performance, budgets, and pipeline reports. Identify potential risks and develop strategic plans to address them.
- Marketing Strategy: Create and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy, focusing on company differentiation, market insights, industry trends, value proposition, competitor activities, and strategic objectives.
- Networking & Pipeline: Identify industry events and networking opportunities to uncover potential business prospects.
- Client Relations: Implement a CRM tool that enhances current systems, tracks the client journey, and supports detailed client documentation.
Ideal Background:
- Consultative Sales Experience: Proven ability to understand client needs, align them with our services, and present tailored solutions through to contract execution.
- Superior Communication: Proficient in asking insightful questions to engage decision-makers, writing, and editing proposals and contracts, advocating for clients, company champion, and building strong client relationships.
- Sales Process: Skilled in creating an efficient sales process that tracks client outreach and the client journey.
- Marketing Experience: Expertise in identifying and selling our services to key decision-makers, developing, and executing marketing strategies, analyzing data, and staying informed on industry trends.
- Education: Preferred bachelor's degree in architecture, business, marketing, or communications.
- Experience: At least 5 years of successful experience in solution-based sales.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Office environment with some site visits required
Ability to sit at a workstation for extended periods of time
Ability to travel and attend events for extended periods of time
