YOUR ROLE - LOCATED IN OUR SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA OFFICE
You will be creating innovative design solutions for an exciting array of projects. Here's what you'll be entrusted with:
- Creative Solutions: Design and develop inspiring projects, shaping environments that elevate user experiences within the industry.
- Collaborative Synergy: Partner with our senior design architects to bring cutting-edge concepts to life, ensuring each project surpasses expectations.
- Critical Thinking: Harness your design expertise to solve complex challenges and deliver outstanding results across diverse project types.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES
- Design Collaboration: Work closely with project teams to craft innovative design concepts for mid-rise hotels, self-storage facilities, and multi-family projects.
- Detailed Documentation: Create comprehensive design drawings, renderings, and presentations using industry-standard software.
- Design Development: Contribute to the development of essential design documents.
- Material and Trend Research: Investigate materials, products, and design trends to guide design choices and ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
- Project Coordination: Liaise with consultants, contractors, and vendors to incorporate their feedback and ensure the seamless execution of projects.
- Continuous Learning: Stay informed about emerging technologies and methodologies in architecture and design and pursue opportunities for professional growth and skill enhancement.
- Commitment to Excellence: Maintain the firm's dedication to creativity, quality, and client satisfaction in every aspect of your work.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Educational Foundation: A bachelor's or master's degree in architecture or a related field.
- Experience: 5 years of hands-on experience in architectural design, with a strong portfolio that highlights work in hotel and multi-family projects.
- Design Software Proficiency: Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other essential design tools.
- Design Development: Create site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, and materials.
- Design Excellence: A keen eye for design and the ability to transform concepts into captivating visual presentations.
- Communication & Collaboration: Outstanding skills in communicating ideas, taking responsibility for working collaboratively with teams, owners, city staff, planners, and consultants.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards specific to our projects.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines, zoning cases, and entitlement submittals.
